Wow.  It has been so nice to read all of your nice messages and comments!  Really made my week.  Thank you!!  I’m glad to be coming back online and I’m thrilled so many familiar names have been appearing in my inbox and in the comment section.  I love hearing what you guys have been up too!

I’m excited to have an active blog back online and I’m looking forward to see what it evolves into.  I’m in a much different space now, than when I started my first blog, so I’ll be writing about topics and experiences that are relevant to my life in the present moment.

This particular site will remain relatively PG 17-ish.  Not to worry though, I’m also developing a blog for ‘adults only.’  Link will be posted here once it’s live…. I’m shooting for August.  I’ll be publishing some of my original erotic photography/videography.  Mostly solo-stuff with some rather well-endowed guys I’ve met over the last year.  Gotta say, I love my job!

I’ve made some significant refinements to my lifestyle in the last year that I’m super-excited to share with you.  Last year I wrote this intro Guide To Natural Fitness, and I’ve completely refined diet and exercise regimen since then.  The basics are still there, so it’s a good starting point, but be aware I’ll be completely revising it soon and some information will be irrelevant.

I’m in a much more “holistic” place now in my life and the updated version of the information there will reflect that.  I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and the results I’ve experienced!

I also intend to write about some other things I’m experimenting with.  Namely, foreskin reconstruction.  I had no idea this was even possible until last year when I inadvertently grew some of mine back as a result of a Jelqing routine I was trying at the time.  After researching the topic a bit more, I realized that it is possible to stretch/re-construct foreskin and there are some devices made particularly for this.  Since my skin seemed to respond well to some simple stretches, I wanted to try one of the “foreskin stretching” devices.

I ordered it and have been using it for a few days.  It’s called a TLC Tugger.  You can look it up if you want to know more.  I cannot recommend it (at this point), as I’ve only started using it.  I will report back though to let you know of my progress.  It was a little cumbersome in the beginning, but after a few days, it’s quite easy to put on and you hardly know you’re wearing it.

Off to bed, more later!!

Joel

Joel, a year later

Hello.  And, (Welcome Back!) for many of you.  It’s been A LONG TIME…. almost a whole year!!

Where to begin??  Well, first of all, I’m alive, well, and kicking… thankfully.  Many of you have sent me messages over the last year wondering what happened to me after my sudden disappearance from the internet.  I TRULY appreciate the concern about my well-being and I sincerely apologize for not being in touch to let you know I was okay, at least.

I’m starting a new blog (here), as a complete fresh start and I’ll leave up my other blog @ joelgabriel.blogspot.com if you’d like to read or reference any of my original articles about masturbation/edging, multiple orgasms, dealing with life, etc….

As for where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to for the last year (and why I disappeared), well, I’m sure those details will emerge over time and it will come out naturally.  What I can say for certain is that I’ve missed communicating with my readers and online friends and I hope we can re-establish a relationship.

To stem some of the curiosity, I will give you a brief synopsis of my last year… and why I disappeared suddenly.

As you may know, when I started my original blog, I was ending a 2 year period of living abroad in South America: Uruguay and Argentina.  I began writing my blog as a form of self-therapy as I was going through some personal challenges at the time… relationship/break-up, financial difficulties, etc… I also began experimenting with different Taoist techniques of abstaining from orgasm and I refrained from having an orgasm for 90 days.  My intention was to use all that extra energy (chi) as my creativity to put into my blog and writing.  (Funny enough, now that I think about it, when I finally started cumming again, I stopped writing.  Not sure if they are related.)

I returned to the US from Buenos Aires on June 30th of 2009 and I felt bruised and emotionally battered from some of the experiences I had there and mainly from the fact that I had been surviving with virtually NO-INCOME for almost 2 years.  I’m still not sure how I accomplished that and managed to get by as well as I did.  I’m very thankful and blessed for that!

When I landed in the US, I had a layover in Washington DC and since I’d never been to the White House, I hopped on a shuttle and went straight there.  That was literally my first stop when I got back.

Since I only had LESS THAN $1.00 in my bank account when I got back, I moved in with my father until I could get my feet on the ground and get myself healthy again.  Because of the stress of living on such limited means, I had lost 15 pounds and looked as pale as a ghost.  Not a pretty sight.

My first, and primary intention when I returned was to get my life back to a place that was acceptable to me.  I was COMPLETELY fed up with being stressed about money ALL THE TIME and it had worn on my soul, my ego, and my self-esteem.  Not to mention the negative effects that all the stress had on my body and health.

Fortunately, I had met a new friend on xtube, Tommy9x6 and we had decided to partner up and create a business together, from scratch… zero, zilch.  We were both in the same spot (financially challenged) and felt we had nothing to loose.  Plus, I still had my best and biggest resource, my own resourcefulness. From the moment the wheels of that airplane touched down, I went to work…. and I didn’t stop until I got myself out of the hole I had dug for myself.  I became so focused on getting my life back on track that EVERYTHING and EVERYONE else faded into the background…. including my blog.

At first, I thought I would take a break for a few weeks.  A few weeks became a few months, and a few months became a year.  In November of 2009, I began to start things up again …. I sent out a few emails, and then my mom became gravely ill with a heart-condition she’d been dealing with for several years.  And again, everything else in my life took a back seat and I flew out to Arkansas to be with her through her emergency surgery and recovery.

(No offence to anyone who lives in Arkansas, ’cause it’s a beautiful State), but I hope I never have to spend a whole month there again… especially under those conditions.  The doctors and surgeons did not give my mother a very good prognosis (pre-surgery) and MIRACULOUSLY things turned out better than ANYONE expected.  When I told my mother goodbye before they wheeled her into the operating room, I was almost certain it would be the last time I’d see her.

Before the surgery, they told her she was diabetic, and would need an artificial valve and a pace-maker to correct her condition (and that was the best-case scenario going in.)  As it turns out, she wasn’t diabetic after all, and the surgeon was able to completely repair her heart without putting in an artificial valve OR a pacemaker.

Now, several months later, she’s back to her usual self (for better or worse) and FULL of “piss and vinegar,” as they say.

Also, by this time, Tommy’s website (http://tommy9x6.com) was growing quite well and I had managed to turn my financial situation completely around within a few months of starting my new business.  It was also consuming about 60-80 hours of my week, every week, so I didn’t have much time for anything else.  During this entire time, I wanted to re-start my blog and reconnect with my fans, I just couldn’t seem to get it started again… I didn’t know where to begin.  Looking back now, I can see that it just wasn’t time, yet.

I had also moved back to LA temporarily and was living with a friend of mine.  Even though I wasn’t technically sleeping on a couch, I was pretty much “couch-surfing” for the entire year.  I’m a very routine/ritual-oriented person and not having stability in my living situation was the second challenge (after-finances), that I wanted to resolve.

I’m VERY HAPPY to report that after 3 LONG YEARS of living like a road-warrior gypsy, I FINALLY HAVE MY OWN APARTMENT AGAIN!!!  IN NYC, no less!!!

After 20+ years of living in California, I was ready for a big change.  Since I’d always wanted to try living in NY, the opportunity arose and I grabbed it!  Coincidentally, I moved into my apartment in NY, on June 30th, 2010, EXACTLY one year to the day from my re-entry into the US.

So, here I am, in New York…. starting a brand new chapter in my life.

I’m not quite sure how this new blog will unfold or what I’ll be writing about, but it’s my intention to re-connect and let it grow however it may.  I hope you’ll stick around because there are a lot of things I want to share with you!!… Very Exciting Things Indeed!!

Welcome back (to both of us),

Joel G
